Wild elephants destroy banana plantation in Coimbatore

Over 100 banana trees were damaged by wild elephants in Coimbatore. Senthilkumar, a farmer from Narasipuram area, had planted banana trees on his farmland. Early this morning, a herd of elephants entered his farm and damaged more than 100 banana trees.

The farmer has demanded compensation for the loss of his banana trees. Other local farmers have also raised concerns and demanded measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
