Women’s education plays a major role in country’s development: Former VC Rajendran

Women’s education plays a major role in the development of a country, said former vice-chancellor of Alagappa University Rajendran during an event organized at PSGR Krishnammal college for women in the city.
The college chairperson Nandhini Rangasamy presided over the college day event organized in the college premises. College secretary Yashoda chaired the event. College principal Meena welcomed the gathering and spoke about the achievements of the college. Former vice-chancellor Rajendran took part as the chief guest of the event.

Addressing the students, he listed out the achievements of the college.  “The college was started as a token of celebration to women’s education.  Women’s education plays a major role in the development of a country and it is important to create a good society. One should not stop learning with colleges, it should be continued throughout life,” he said.
