A workshop for mediapersons was held in Coimbatore by Press Information Office, Chennai, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India.
Journalists from various media, media students and college professors attended. 
Mr. V. Palanichamy, Chief Regional Director, Press Information Office, who inaugurated the workshop, spoke about the role of the media in preventing the spread of false news. 
Advocate Mr. M Rajkumar explained the problems caused by illegal migration. Indians who are going to work abroad can contact the mobile helpline number 90421 49222 and can also reach them through WhatsApp if they have any problem. 
Mr. Sivakumar, Vice President of Start Up Tamilnadu spoke on start ups and about investment initiatives. 
TN has the highest number of 127 incubation centers in India. Speaking on cybercrimes, Mr. Arun, Inspector, Coimbatore Cybercrime Police, explained how to protect oneself from fraudulent investment, phone call scams, cryptocurrency scams, digital arrests, FedEx courier scams, etc.
