Workshop on apiculture

Students of Diploma in Apiculture, Department of Zoology, Kongunadu Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Coimbatore in association with Madhurum Honey and Bee farm jointly organized a workshop on selling of Multiflowered honey, forest honey, drumstick flower honey, Figs honey, Amla soaked and processed in the honey from April 17 to 19 in the college. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Selvi, Associate professor and Principal In-charge and Dr. S. Binukumari, Head in-charge, Dr. S. Rajeshkumar coordinator, Dr. P. Bharathi and faculty members. Proprietor of the Maruthum honey said that “Our bees are never fed refined sugar and no chemical are used in the hives.''
