World Autism Awareness Day is observed on April 2 across the world. This year's Autism and Persons with Disabilities Day is observed with an aim to recognise their feelings and encourage them to do work that suits their talents.
Amaze Foundation is an NGO operating in K.Vadamadurai, Coimbatore. The institute has been running for the last 10 years and has been imparting skill training to people with autism and differently abled.
On behalf of the Foundation, Autism Awareness Cycle rally was held.
The participants left on bicycles from different parts of the city and reached the Life Skill Center of the Foundation.
Members of Young Indians, Coimbatore Cycling Club, Sukhoo Cycling Club and members of the general public participated in the rally. Breakfast and certificate were given.
A free medical camp was arranged by the VGM Hospital and Shankara Eye Hospital. Ashwin and Aparna participated and conducted dental examinations.
Many got benefited in this medical camp.
