World Karate Invitational Tournament was held in Coimbatore

The 6th World Karate Invitational Tournament was held in Coimbatore by Hayashika-Ha Karate and Fighters Academy at SVM Mahal in Coimbatore.

More than 2000 students from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka and 15 states of India participated in this competition. Thondamuthur MLA Mr. Velumani inaugurated the event.  The prizes were given by Mr. Anbarasan of Nallaram Foundation, Mr. Kinathukadavu MLA Damodaran and Karunanidhi, Director of Physical Education, Hindustan College. 

Premjit, Makathi, Lakshana, Smruti, Adira, Aikksha from CMC International School in Dithipalayam participated in these competitions in various categories and won medals. School correspondent Leema Rose and Principal of the school Ms. Premalatha Nair congratulated the winners.

The special guest Thiaku Ponnaiah of Malaysia attended and congratulated the players.
