World Patient Safety Day observed by Saveetha Dental College

Marking the  World Patient Safety Day, the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Saveetha Dental College, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, conducted an awareness programme on the significance of medication safety to the staff nurses employed in Ulandai Primary Health Centre, Thiruvallur district.

A power point presentation was carried out to highlight the adverse effects of medications that are inadequately prescribed, stored or administered to the patients. 
The session was followed by distribution of pamphlets to the staff nurses.
