World record of national flag painting set at Saveetha

On the Occasion of the 75th Independence Day, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) set a world record by painting 5000 Indian national flags.The event held on Augus 11 was  coordinated by Saveetha School of Law. 

This event marked a world record registered with the International Book of Record in the presence of Dr. N.M. Veeraiyan, Founder and Chancellor, SIMATS, Mr. A. Nazir Ahamed, District Judge / Member Secretary, Mr. S John J Raja Singh, Additional Government Pleader, High Court of Madras. The Vice-Chancellor, Director of Academics, Deans of Constituent colleges of SIMATS graced the occasion with their presence. The event concluded with the national anthem.
