World Tamil Cultural Center Award Ceremony

The 9th Annual Awards Presentation and Book Release Ceremony on behalf of World Tamil Cultural Center was held at the Dr. N.G.P. College of Arts and Science on Friday.  Dr. NGP Education Group Secretary Dr. Thavamanidevi Palaniswami inaugurated the event.

President of World Tamil Cultural Centre Dr. Nalla Palaniswami gave a special address.  In his address, he emphasized that the language should grow and the heritage of the language should be preserved.

Secretary of World Tamil Cultural Center Padmasri Sirpi Balasubramaniam and World Tamil Cultural Center Foundation Member Dr.Gnanasundaram introduced the awardees. Dr. K. Rajendran, Pediatrician of Coimbatore Medical Center Hospital spoke on Maruthanayagam's book “Oppil Kamban”. 

Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University Vice-Chancellor delivered the keynote address. Writers Ayesha Ira. Natarasan, Bharat Krishnakumar, G. Ashok Kumar, Su. Venugopal were given awards.Dr. Sirpi Balasubramaniam, Dr. KV Krishnamurthy, Writer Ayesha Ira. Natarasan spoke.  P Ira Muthuswamy delivered the vote of thanks.
