Zoho Corporation CEO visits BIT

Founder and CEO of Zoho Corporation Padma Shri Dr Sridhar Vembu and the founder of Pricol Limited Mr Vijay Mohan, along with Chairman of BIT Thiru SV Balasubramaniam, visited the Bannari Amman Institute of Technology Sathyamangalam. 

He has interacted with the students and the professors of the institute to discuss about the India’s Vision by 2047 to enable India as a fully developed Nation.

He emphasized the objectives of the Vision 2047 to provide the Industrialisation, skill development and know-how creation in rural India.  

The Technology trends along with digital and physical infrastructure investments can help reverse the decline of the rural areas.

The academia can support the people of rural areas along with the intelligent technologies to ensure the economic balance. 

The technological interventions can be made in sectors like manufacturing, sales, value addition of agricultural products, employment, etc.  

To overcome the barriers in Socio-Economic Development, Employment, rural development, and Higher education of the nation, The Industry and the Academia should collaborate to bring out the solutions through extensive skill development. They were accompanied by the Trustee Dr MP Vijayakumar IAS (Retd.), Principal Dr C Palanisamy, Dean Dr K Sivakumar, and Dr A Amar Karthik Professor/Mechanical Engineering.
