In the Tamil Nadu Budget, it was announced that 50 facility centers with drinking water and other basic facilities will be set up at a cost of Rs 20.25 crore to meet the basic needs of construction workers at places where construction workers gather in large numbers in the morning for their daily work.
Based on this, the Chief Minister inaugurated a basic facility center near Erode Clock Tower today through video conferencing. Anthiyur MLA Venkatachalam, Collector S Kandasamy, Mayor Nagaratnam Subramaniam, Deputy Mayor Selvaraj, Assistant Commissioner, Labour Welfare, Jayalakshmi, LPF functionaries Gopal and Thangamuthu participated in the program.
