Students encouraged to face challenges with confidence at KASC College day

Students were encouraged to face challenges with confidence and strive for excellence during the College Day celebrations of Kongunadu College of Arts and Science in Coimbatore.
Sudha Seshayyan, former Vice-Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, and Director of SASTRA University, was the chief guest. C.A. Vasuki, Secretary and Director of the college, and V. Sangeetha, Principal, were present.
Addressing the gathering, Sudha Seshayyan congratulated the management, faculty and students on the successful celebration and wished the institution continued growth. She advised students never to shy away from responsibility, noting that responsibilities undertaken sincerely would contribute to personal growth and future success.
She encouraged students to enjoy learning and face challenges with courage and determination. Difficulties may appear daunting at first, she said, but become easier when approached with calmness and confidence.
Speaking on stress, she noted that it often arises from within and emphasised that effective time management is one of the simplest ways to maintain balance and reduce pressure in life.
In her concluding remarks, she urged students to remain grateful to their parents and families, respect teachers who guide them, and take pride in contributing positively to the nation’s progress.
C.A. Vasuki congratulated the students’ council for organising the celebration and highlighted the chief guest’s distinguished service as a doctor, teacher, administrator and author of more than 30 books.
Earlier, S. Thomnic Lithvina, II M.Sc Computer Science and President of the Students’ Association, delivered the welcome address. Principal V. Sangeetha presented the annual report for 2025–26, and B. Pawan Krishnan, III B.Sc Mathematics and Secretary of the Students’ Association, proposed the vote of thanks.
