Actor Satheesh expressed hope for peace among nations while speaking at the promotional event of his latest film Mustafa Mustafa, which was released in theatres on Friday.
The film, directed by Praveen Saravanan, features Satheesh and Monica Chinnakotla in the lead roles. The story revolves around a television professional who falls in love with a doctor. With both families agreeing to their marriage, wedding preparations begin. However, complications arise when a video showing the protagonist with another woman surfaces online just days before the wedding. The rest of the film follows his attempts to remove the video and uncover who released it.
Speaking at the film’s promotional event, Satheesh made a lighthearted remark referring to the film’s title.
He said he wished that countries like Iran, Israel and the United States would unite and “sing the song Mustafa Mustafa together,” expressing hope for harmony similar to the spirit suggested by the film’s title.
The comment drew attention on social media, with many sharing clips from the event.
