Kerala YouTuber summoned for filming dance video at Gandhipuram bus stand

Police have summoned a YouTuber from Kerala for questioning after a video showing people dancing at the crowded Gandhipuram bus stand in Coimbatore went viral on social media.
According to police, the video was posted on Instagram by Jithu Saji, also known online as GS Mohan.
The clip shows a young man dressed in a saree dancing inside the bus stand premises, while two others were seen dancing near the passenger waiting area and parking zone.
The video was reportedly filmed at a time when the bus stand was crowded with passengers. It quickly spread on social media, drawing criticism from the public for being filmed without permission in a busy public place.
Several social activists and members of the public raised concerns that the act caused inconvenience to passengers and traffic movement within the bus stand.
They also pointed out that the video included images of schoolchildren and women whose faces were recorded and shared online without consent.
Following the complaints, the Kattur police initiated an inquiry into the incident.
Police officials said the individuals involved have been summoned for questioning.
They added that the group has previously recorded similar dance videos in public places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, allegedly causing inconvenience to the public.
Further action will be taken based on the outcome of the inquiry, police said.
