The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy undertook a wall painting and restoration initiative titled “Chithiram” at Government Higher Secondary School, Pichanur, transforming the campus with vibrant murals.
Members of the club actively engaged in painting and restoration work throughout the day, turning plain school walls into colourful and creative spaces aimed at making the environment more welcoming and inspiring for students and staff.
The project was guided by Sri Harish of NAC Fine Arts Academy, whose artistic inputs ensured effective execution of the murals. The initiative was coordinated by Shruthinaya, Event Chair, who oversaw the planning and implementation of the programme.
The initiative helped create a positive and engaging atmosphere within the school, encouraging creativity and a sense of pride among students.
The school community appreciated the efforts of the club members in enhancing the campus environment.
The club stated that such initiatives reflect its continued commitment to community service, youth leadership and sustainable social impact.
