Coimbatore North Round Table 20, along with Madras Anchorage Round Table 100, organised a unique community service initiative titled “Flight Of Fantasy”, taking 16 children from an orphanage in Coimbatore to Chennai for their first-ever flight experience.
As part of the day-long programme, the children travelled by air from Coimbatore to Chennai in the morning and returned the same evening, making it a memorable journey for all participants.
During their time in Chennai, the children spent the day at the popular Phoenix Marketcity Chennai, where they enjoyed a range of activities including a snow park, gaming arena, and a ghost house, among other attractions.
The organisers also distributed gift hampers containing toys and educational materials to the children. The initiative brought joy and excitement, with the children returning home with lasting memories and smiles.
This marks the fifth consecutive year that Coimbatore North Round Table 20 has conducted the “Flight Of Fantasy” community service project.
