A snake found inside a house in Adoor in Kasaragod district created concern after a gold ring was discovered lodged in its body.
Kerala has been witnessing intense heat in recent days, forcing snakes from forest areas to enter residential localities in search of cooler surroundings.
This has led to increased instances of reptiles entering homes, causing alarm among residents.
In the latest incident, a snake entered a house in Adoor and crawled onto a table. It was then noticed that a gold ring kept on the table had become stuck in the snake’s body. Forest Department officials were alerted and promptly reached the spot.
They safely captured the snake, carefully removed the ring, and later released the reptile back into the forest.
