Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital has constructed a modern sanitary facility for girl students and staff of the Government Higher Secondary School at Chinniyampalayam in Coimbatore as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The facility, built at a cost of ₹35 lakh, was inaugurated by Dr. K. Madeswaran, Chairman and Managing Director of Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Madeswaran stressed the importance of adequate sanitation facilities in ensuring the health, hygiene and comfort of students. He said access to clean and safe restroom facilities plays a vital role in creating a conducive learning environment for girl students.
As part of the programme, Dr. Madeswaran also planted a sapling on the school campus under the “Uyirin Suvasam” project, an initiative aimed at promoting environmental conservation and creating a greener future.
Government Higher Secondary School Headmaster Prabhakar expressed gratitude to Royal Care Super Speciality Hospital for its support. He said the institution had readily responded when approached for assistance and had provided a well-equipped sanitary facility that exceeded the school’s expectations.
He noted that the new facility would serve the needs of students for many years and significantly improve sanitation standards on the campus.
Representatives from the school management, teachers and students thanked the hospital for providing the much-needed infrastructure. Among those present were Aleyamma Sunny, AGM, NCGTC, M. Karthikeyan, President, CODISSIA, and N. Vijaya, General Manager, Indian Overseas Bank.
The hospital said it would continue to undertake community welfare and development initiatives through its CSR programmes.
