PSG Hospitals launches Coimbatore’s first comprehensive fertility centre

PSG Hospitals inaugurated PSG Fertility 360°, the city’s first comprehensive fertility centre, offering integrated services in andrology, IVF, reproductive medicine, male and female fertility, embryology, fertility preservation, counselling and infertility care under one roof.
The centre aims to provide evidence-based, multidisciplinary fertility care for both men and women through advanced diagnosis, treatment, counselling and follow-up. The inaugural function was held at the B Block Auditorium of PSG Hospitals in the presence of medical professionals, faculty members, students and members of the public.
Dr. J. S. Bhuvaneswaran, Director, PSG Super Specialty Hospitals, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Krishnamohan, Urologist and Andrologist, and Dr. Athilakshmi, IVF Consultant, introduced the new centre and highlighted its comprehensive approach to fertility care, including advanced evaluation, assisted reproductive technologies and personalised treatment plans.
The function was presided over by Dr. K. Banumathi, Director, PSG Vishnugranthi. Felicitations were delivered by Dr. R. Jeyadeepa, Principal, PSG College of Nursing, and Dr. Anuradha M.D., Nursing Superintendent. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. S. Vishranthi, Endo Gynaecologist.
A special public debate on delayed parenthood highlighted the impact of changing lifestyles, stress, nutrition and environmental factors on fertility. Experts emphasised the importance of early evaluation of both partners, noting that infertility affects men and women equally and underscoring the growing need for specialised andrology services. The hospital said the new centre would provide world-class fertility care supported by advanced diagnostics, modern IVF laboratories and experienced specialists.
