Stanes School 2001 batch reunites after 25 years

Former students of the 2001 batch of Stanes Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore came together after 25 years at a grand reunion held on Saturday, rekindling old memories and celebrating lasting friendships.
Nearly 120 alumni visited their alma mater on Avinashi Road in the morning. They toured their former classrooms, playground, auditorium, canteen, library and indoor stadium, sharing nostalgic memories of their school days. The alumni also gathered in front of the school building for a group photograph.
The celebrations continued in the evening at Mango Resort in Alandurai, near Coimbatore, where the former students warmly greeted one another and reminisced about their school life and their personal and professional journeys over the past 25 years.
Several participants showcased their talents through cultural performances, while some became emotional as they recalled memorable incidents from their school days. Former student K. Pravin entertained the gathering by singing popular film
songs.
The organisers also conducted team-based games, recreating the spirit of the inter-house competitions held during their school days. The reunion concluded with a dinner, and mementoes were presented to all participants.
The alumni who attended the reunion are now serving in diverse fields, including business, medicine, banking, government service, private sector organisations and sports. Several former students working abroad also returned to Coimbatore to participate in the reunion.
