Seven Ministers appointed to oversee Chennai zones

The Tamil Nadu Government has appointed seven Ministers to oversee development and relief works across the 15 zones of the Greater Chennai Corporation.
Minister Aadhav Arjuna has been given overall responsibility for coordinating the 15 zones. Ramesh, D. Logesh Tamilselvan, K. G. Arunraj, M. Vijay Balaji, T. K. Prabhu, A. Vijay Tamilan Parthiban and K. Vignesh have also been appointed as Ministers in charge of specific zones.

Ramesh will oversee the Thiruvottiyur and Manali zones, while D. Logesh Tamilselvan will be in charge of Tondiarpet and Madhavaram.
K. G. Arunraj has been assigned Royapuram and Thiru. Vi. Ka. Nagar. M. Vijay Balaji will oversee Ambattur, Anna Nagar and Teynampet.

T. K. Prabhu has been assigned Kodambakkam and Valasaravakkam, while A. Vijay Tamilan Parthiban will oversee Alandur and Adyar.
K. Vignesh has been given responsibility for Perungudi and Sholinganallur.
The Ministers have been appointed to expedite development works in the respective zones and coordinate relief and rehabilitation activities during disasters.
