Lotus Eye Hospital & Institute on Thursday launched Lotus Optique, a new optical store at its Sitra campus on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore, bringing professional eye care and eyewear services under one roof.
The store was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. A.K. Ravikumar, President-Elect, Tamil Nadu State IMA, as Chief Guest and Dr. S. Karthick Prabhu, Secretary, Tamil Nadu State IMA, as Guest of Honour.

Lotus Optique offers a curated selection of branded frames and contemporary eyewear for different age groups, lifestyles and personal preferences. The initiative is aimed at providing customers with convenient access to eyewear within the Lotus eye-care environment.
As part of the launch, Lotus Optique is offering up to 50% off on branded frames from August 27 to September 30, 2026.
Sangeetha Sundaramoorthy said Lotus Optique was a natural extension of the institution’s philosophy of improving the way people experience their vision and lives. She said the new store would enable customers to explore quality eyewear while benefiting from their association with a trusted eye-care institution.
Dr. K.S. Ramalingam said the initiative complemented Lotus’s focus on comprehensive and technology-driven eye care by addressing an important part of everyday vision. He said the aim was to provide customers with choice, quality and the trust associated with Lotus.
