Sundaram Finance Ooty branch marks 25 years of service

Sundaram Finance’s Ooty branch marked 25 years of continuous service on Tuesday, celebrating its longstanding association with customers, employees and their families.
Rajesh Venkat, Senior Vice President and Head – Tamil Nadu Region, Sundaram Finance, said the branch’s journey was sustained by the company’s values of truth, fairness and service.
S. V. Ramesh, Senior Branch Manager, Ooty branch, said the branch, established in 2001, had played an important role in expanding financial access in Ooty, particularly among small business owners, first-time borrowers, self-employed professionals and transport operators.
Over the past 25 years, the branch has supported customers beyond financial services, with a focus on transparency, dignity and personalised service. Several employees have also spent significant portions of their careers at the branch, building long-standing relationships with customers.
The anniversary celebrations also recognised the contribution of employees’ families. Letters of appreciation personally signed by Rajesh Venkat, Head of Tamil Nadu Region, Sundaram Finance, were presented to family members in recognition of their
support.
As Sundaram Finance prepares to celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2029, the Ooty branch’s 25-year milestone reaffirmed the company’s stated commitment to serving with integrity, growing with humility and remaining connected to the community.
The branch’s journey was described as a reflection of continuity, commitment and its long-standing relationship with customers and the local community.
