The complex has two blocks, A and B, and houses a library for persons with disabilities, a 350-seat auditorium, a science centre, a planetarium and a space elevator facility. Other amenities include a children’s library, reading areas, a competitive examination coaching centre, administrative offices and dedicated sections for history, Tamil literature, English books and periodicals.
The upper floors also accommodate startup incubation centres, an English-learning section, a science centre and a digital library.
District officials said Vijay would inaugurate the facility during his visit to Coimbatore on October 16. Other engagements during the visit are yet to be finalised.
