Geetha Radha (86), wife of late veteran actor M.R. Radha, passed away in Chennai on Sunday evening (Sept. 21) due to age-related ailments.
She is the mother of popular actresses Radhika Sarathkumar and Nirosha, and mother-in-law of actor-politician R. Sarathkumar. Her passing has caused deep grief in the Tamil film industry and among well-wishers.
In a condolence message, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed his sorrow and said:
“I express my deepest condolences on the death of Geetha Radha, wife of actor M.R. Radha. I extend my condolences to her family, relatives and friends, including her daughter Radhika Sarathkumar, who are grieving this loss.”
Tributes have been pouring in from film personalities, fans, and political leaders. Family members have begun funeral arrangements, and many are expected to pay their last respects.
