The 21st Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Physician Assistants (IAPA) IAPACON 2025 concluded on a high note at Chennai, marking a historic moment in India’s healthcare journey.
The conference also traced the roots of the PA profession in India to Dr. K. M. Cherian. A major highlight of IAPACON 2025 was the launch of the Journal of the Indian Physician Associates (JIPA) by Dr. Ezhilan Naganathan, MLA, Tamil Nadu, who inaugurated the event as the chief guest.
Ms. Gomathi Sundar, President of IAPA, highlighted IAPACON 2025 as a significant event for Physician Associates in India, noting achievements like recognition under the NCAHP Act, the launch of JIPA, and National PA Day, fostering future healthcare improvements.
