Minister for School Education Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi today announced the schedule for the Class 10, 11, and 12 public examinations for the current academic year.
According to the official release, the Class 12 (Higher Secondary Second Year) examinations will be held from March 2 to March 26, 2026, with 8.7 lakh students expected to appear. The Class 11 (Higher Secondary First Year) examinations will be conducted from March 3 to March 27, 2026.
The Class 10 (SSLC) public examinations will take place from March 11 to April 6, 2026, with around 8.70 lakh students set to write the exams across the state.
As per the announcement, the results for Class 12 students will be released on May 8, 2026, and the Class 10 results on May 20, 2026.
The Minister stated that detailed subject-wise timetables and examination centre arrangements will be released shortly by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE).
