KMCH Creates History With Deloitte Recognition

In a historic achievement, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH) has become the first hospital in India to receive the prestigious “Best Managed Companies – Jury Special Recognition Award” from Deloitte Private. The award ceremony was held in Mumbai on October 15, 2025.
KMCH, a leading quaternary care hospital in South India, has earned this recognition for its excellence in governance, ethical practices, and outstanding contribution to healthcare. The award reaffirms KMCH’s legacy of more than three decades in delivering world-class, patient-centric medical care through innovation and integrity.
The Deloitte Best Managed Companies program is considered one of the world’s most respected business recognitions, assessing organizations on parameters such as visionary leadership, corporate governance, financial performance, and long-term strategy. Out of 25 shortlisted companies, only eight were recognized—six as winners and two with special jury recognition, with KMCH being one among them.
The award was received by Dr. Arun N. Palaniswami, Executive Director, and Mr. Sivakumaran Janakiraman, Chief Operating Officer (COO), at the gala ceremony in Mumbai. Expressing pride over the milestone, Dr. Nalla G.
