Survey officials start indefinite strike

TN Land Survey Officials Union members staging a demo at Erode Collectorate on Wednesday to press 18 point charter of demands including removal of heavy work load, restoration of firka level surveyors posts, cancellation of outsourcing and contract basis appointment, filling up of all vacancies, removal of pay anomalies, new appointments in taluk, firka, town, inspector level posts.
To press the demands, they started indefinite strike from Nov 18 all over TN. Union leaders Gowrisankar, R Sethumadhavan, R Chandrakumar, Navamanikandan, S Ramesh, K Vijay, and K Nawas Ali spoke.
