The Highways Department has started the work of constructing 80 Metre length retaining wall at a cost of Rs. 85 lakhs on the banks of the big lake at Andiyur to facilitate vehicular traffic under the Integrated Road Infrastructure Development Project.
The work was inaugurated by Andiyur MLA A.G. Venkatachalam on Wednesday by performing the Bhoomi
Pooja.
