Bomb threat to three International flights

A bomb threat to three international flights at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad triggered panic and heightened security on Monday.
Airport authorities were alerted after an email claimed that bombs had been planted on three flights arriving in Hyderabad from Kannur, Frankfurt and London. Following the threat, emergency safety protocols were immediately activated.
As soon as all three flights landed at the Hyderabad airport, security agencies launched intensive inspections. Teams from the Bomb Disposal Squad and Sniffer Dog Unit carried out phased and thorough checks of the aircraft.
Passengers’ cabin baggage, checked-in luggage and cargo compartments were meticulously screened. After detailed verification, no explosive materials were found, and the threat was later treated as a hoax.
Meanwhile, the Cyber Crime Wing has launched an investigation to trace the source of the threatening email and identify those responsible for creating panic.
