OPS, TTV in NDA?

There are only 4 months left for the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. All the parties are preparing for this. They are paying serious attention to the tasks including alliance negotiations, seat sharing, campaigning, public meetings, etc.
As far as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is concerned, the BJP had been planning from the beginning to get 40 seats from the AIADMK. At the same time, the AIADMK had been saying that it would only allocate 20 to 25 seats to the BJP.
In this situation, BJP election in-charge Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Arjun Ram Meghwal arrived in Chennai yesterday and held discussions with AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami.
During this meeting, Edappadi Palaniswami is said to have categorically stated that O. Panneerselvam and TTV Dinakaran, who were expelled from the AIADMK, cannot be reinstated in the party. At the same time, sources say that Edappadi Palaniswami has agreed to include both of them in the alliance due to pressure from the BJP.
During the talks, Edappadi Palaniswami presented a seat distribution list to Piyush Goyal. It contained details of the number of seats allotted to each party contesting in the NDA. The seats have been divided as AIADMK 170, BJP 23, PMK 23, DMDK 6, AMMK 6, OPS 3, GK Vasan’s party 3.
It has been decided in the talks between Edappadi Palaniswami and Piyush Goyal to give 23 seats to Ramadoss and Anbumani. It is also said that the AIADMK has assured that it will take responsibility for appeasing the PMK on both sides.
So, the ongoing seat-sharing process in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is almost over. The highlight is that O. Panneerselvam and AMMK General Secretary TTV Dinakaran have been given the green light to join this alliance. But will the two, who have been at odds over this decision, accept it and join the NDA?
O. Panneerselvam and TTV Dinakaran are saying that they will not accept Edappadi Palaniswami as the Chief Ministerial candidate. O. Panneerselvam had said yesterday that he is ashamed to even mention Palaniswami’s name. Will the BJP’s attempt to bring them both into the alliance bear fruit?
