With the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections due soon, the PMK has joined the AIADMK alliance.
EPS is actively involved in efforts to strengthen the AIADMK alliance for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. In that regard, AIADMK was also considering an alliance with PMK.
In this situation, PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss visited AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami’s residence on Greenways Road, Chennai this morning.
After this meeting, AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami and PMK leader Anbumani jointly met the media.
At that time, Edappadi Palaniswami said: The AIADMK &- BJP alliance has already been confirmed. In this case, the PMK has joined this alliance.
This is a natural alliance. This alliance is as desired by the AIADMK &PMK party members and workers. This is a winning alliance.
In the upcoming assembly elections, our alliance will win most of the 234 seats and form a government with the AIADMK’s sole majority, to create a strong Tamil Nadu based on the goal of removing the anti-people DMK regime and providing the people with the necessary plans.
I am happy to announce that the three parties AIADMK, BJP and PMK will work together day and night and achieve a huge victory. We have decided on the number of seats. The rest will be announced later.
However, reports have emerged that the AIADMK has come forward to allocate 18 assembly seats and one Rajya Sabha seat to the PMK. Anbumani continued, “We have joined forces to face the upcoming assembly elections in an alliance led by the AIADMK.
This is a happy moment for us. We are in the alliance that our workers were expecting. This is a strong alliance.
Our aim is to remove the anti-people, corrupt, anti-women, and anti-social justice DMK regime. We have seen tremendous success.
“Recently, when we went on a 100-day march, we saw that the rural people were very angry with the DMK. They are waiting for the elections to come. We are sure that our alliance will get a landslide victory,” he said.
