Rambha set for silver screen comeback after 16 years

Actor Rambha, a popular face of 1990s Tamil cinema, is set to return to films after a gap of nearly 16 years, much to the delight of her fans.
Rambha shot to fame with several hit films and remains memorable for her energetic performance in the song Azhagiya Laila from the 1996 Tamil film Ullathai Allitha. She went on to share screen space with many leading actors and built a strong fan base across South India.
The actor married businessman Indran Padmanathan in 2010 and later settled in Canada. The couple has two daughters and a son. After stepping away from films, Rambha made only occasional appearances on television.
Sources close to the actor say she has been listening to new scripts and has finalised a couple of projects. She has reportedly undergone fitness training and diet regimens in preparation for her comeback.
Rambha was last seen in the Tamil film Pen Singam, released in 2010. Now 49, her return to the big screen after a long hiatus has generated excitement among fans who are eager to see her back in action.
