TVK leader Vijay to campaign in Thanjavur on March 4

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam leader Vijay will campaign in Thanjavur district on March 4 as part of his outreach ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
According to party sources, Vijay is scheduled to meet party executives and volunteers at Chengipatti near Thanjavur.
Preparations are under way to organise a major interaction meeting on a nine-acre site in the area. The event is expected to be held from 10 am to 3 pm.
Around 4,900 administrators and volunteers from eight Assembly constituencies in Thanjavur district are likely to take part in the meeting.
In view of the anticipated turnout, TVK functionaries have submitted a petition to the Thanjavur District Superintendent of Police seeking adequate security arrangements.
Thanjavur Central District Secretary Saravanan said the police authorities have assured that the request will be examined and necessary security measures will be put in place.
