Passenger Removed From Flight In US For Playing Video Without Headphones

A woman passenger was removed from an American Airlines flight in the United States after repeatedly refusing to use headphones while playing videos on her mobile phone, leading to a disturbance on board.
The incident occurred on a flight preparing to depart from Miami to Tampa. According to reports, the woman was watching videos at high volume without using headphones, disturbing other passengers.
Flight attendants reportedly requested her several times to use headphones or lower the volume. However, she refused to comply and continued playing the videos, which led to an argument with the cabin crew.
As the situation escalated, airport police were called and the woman was escorted off the aircraft. A video circulating on social media shows the passenger questioning the action, saying she had only played a short video.
Fellow passengers reportedly applauded as she was removed from the plane.
Airlines have strict rules against disruptive behaviour on flights. Under updated airline policies, passengers who disturb others, including by playing audio or videos without headphones, can be removed from the aircraft.
