District-level kickboxing competition

The 5th Erode District-Level Kickboxing Competition was held on Sunday at the Raghavendra Marriage Hall in Erode.
The event was conducted under the leadership of Mr. A. Yusuf, General Secretary of the Erode District Kickboxing Association. Two hundred students from across the district participated in the competition. Those who qualified in this event will proceed to participate in the State-Level Tamil Nadu Amateur Kickboxing Competition, scheduled to be held in Theni district from May 7 to 10. Abhishek, Ganesan, and Sivanandam served as referees for the competition. Special guests Mr. David Marcar and Ms. Bernadine Marcar presented the awards. Association office-bearers—Raja, Sengottaiyan, Mahendra Kumar, Sakthivel, Shankar, and Bhoomika—along with student representative Sheikh Mohammed, parents, teachers, and Association President Thennarasu, extended their best wishes to the participating students.
