Former Chief Minister and DMK president M. K. Stalin extended his Teachers’ Day greetings to teachers who identify the potential within every child and help shape students into good human beings.
In a message posted on his X page on the occasion, Stalin recalled that Teachers’ Day is observed on the birth anniversary of former President of India and eminent philosopher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
He said teachers play an important role in guiding society and shaping future generations.
In the era of artificial intelligence, where answers can be obtained instantly, the greater responsibility of teachers is to create a generation capable of analysing information and asking the right questions, he said.
Stalin called upon people to pledge on Teachers’ Day to build a society that rises through knowledge, gains clarity through rational thinking and remains united through humanity.
