Actor and racer Ajith Kumar expressed happiness over Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay accepting his invitation to attend the Le Mans Cup race in the United Kingdom.
Ajith Kumar’s team is participating in the Le Mans Cup series in the UK. Chief Minister Vijay is scheduled to attend the race and flag it off.
Speaking about Vijay’s visit, Ajith said the Chief Minister had taken time from his busy schedule to travel to London.
He said the two had been working in the same field for 34 years and expressed happiness over Vijay becoming Chief Minister.
Ajith said Vijay had been taking several steps to promote the sports sector and that he was pleased that the Chief Minister had accepted his invitation to attend the race.
He also said the Tamil Nadu government was taking steps to promote motorsports in India and expressed his wish to see motorsport events develop further in the country.
