Kathir College of Engineering (Autonomous), Coimbatore, organised its Inauguration and Induction Programme 2026 to welcome the newly admitted B.E. and B.Tech. students of the 2026–2030 batch.
Dr. Kavidasan, Director–HR, Roots Industries India Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, and Secretary, Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International School, Kallar, was the chief guest. He encouraged the students to develop self-confidence, leadership qualities and a positive outlook for their personal and professional growth.
The programme was presided over by E. S. Kathir, Founder-Chairman, Kathir Institutions. Lavanya Kathir, Secretary, Kathir Institutions, delivered the special address, while K. S. Mithilesh, Vice-Chairman, Kathir Institutions, proposed the vote of thanks.
The programme was convened by Dr. R. Udaiyakumar, Principal, Kathir College of Engineering, and coordinated by Prof. S. Saravanan, Head of the Department of Science and Humanities.
The induction programme introduced the fresh entrants to the academic environment and expectations of professional education. The management and faculty members extended their best wishes to the new batch and encouraged them to make effective use of the opportunities available during their academic journey.
