GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST 2027 registration opens

Registration has opened for GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST 2027, the four leading international trade fairs for the metals and foundry industries, to be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from June 21 to 25,
2027.
Under the banner “The Bright World of Metals”, the four fairs will bring together international market leaders, emerging companies and industry professionals from across the global metals and foundry
sector.
The events will focus on sustainability and decarbonisation, digitalisation and automation, resource efficiency, the circular economy, young talent, global networking and knowledge transfer.
GIFA will showcase foundry technology, including casting processes, additive manufacturing and resource-efficient production solutions. METEC will focus on metallurgy, metal production and processing, including sustainable technologies across the value chain.
THERMPROCESS will present industrial heat-treatment and thermal-process technologies, with a focus on electrification, hydrogen and energy-efficient fuel systems. NEWCAST will highlight precision casting products and lightweight construction solutions.
The 2023 edition of the four trade fairs attracted 2,200 exhibitors from 56 countries and 63,300 trade visitors from 116 nations. About 58 per cent of visitors were decision-makers, while 68 per cent came from
abroad.
The international network will also include events in Istanbul, Mumbai, Jakarta, Bangkok, Shanghai, Monterrey, Cairo and Riyadh. A new cooperation with Inter Foundry in Coimbatore, India, began in 2026.
Messe Düsseldorf said the four trade fairs would provide a global platform connecting companies, decision-makers, technologies and markets and driving transformation across the metals and foundry industries.
