DMK Deputy General Secretary and Thoothukudi Lok Sabha MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi has officially changed her name to Kanimozhi Rajathi Karunanidhi.
The name change incorporates her mother Rajathi’s name as her middle name.
She was earlier known as Kanimozhi Karunanidhi in official records and political circles.
The legal formalities for the name change have been completed, and an official notification has been published in the Tamil Nadu Government
Gazette.
Kanimozhi, who was known as a poet and writer by the name Kanimozhi before entering politics, currently serves as the DMK Parliamentary Party
leader.
