A blood donation camp was organised jointly by Al-Ameen Engineering College at Karundevanpalayam, Nanjai Uthukuli, Erode, and the Erode Central Lions Club. Modakurichi MLA Shanmugan inaugurated the camp, in which more than 80 students donated blood.Later, Mr. Shanmugan inaugurated a leadership training workshop titled “Sigaram Nokki”, organised by the Erode Central Lions Club.
College principal A.M.J. Mohammed Zubair Rahman and president H.A. Hasan Ali participated in the event, while educational institutions’ secretary and correspondent A.K. Jabarulla delivered the felicitation address.Vice-president Iskandar, joint secretary Sadiq Ali, treasurer Wasim, former Lions Club president Kumaravel and members of the Civil Engineering Association were among those present. Principal J. Kamal Basha proposed the vote of thanks.
