CM Vijay announces Rs. 75 lakh incentive for cricketer Kamalini

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has announced a Rs. 75 lakh cash incentive for cricketer G. Kamalini, who was part of the Indian women’s cricket team that won the gold medal at the 20th Asian Games in
Japan.
In a post on X, Chief Minister Vijay congratulated the Indian women’s team on its gold-medal victory in the women’s cricket competition and extended his appreciation to Kamalini, who hails from Madurai.
Recognising Kamalini’s achievement, the Tamil Nadu government will provide her a cash incentive of Rs. 75 lakh, he said. Vijay said the Tamil Nadu government would continue to support talented sportspersons and expressed hope that Kamalini’s achievement would inspire the youth and women of the State.He also wished Kamalini success in achieving many more milestones in her sporting
career.
