A thrilling title showdown awaits as the MECO-FMSCI Indian National Karting Championship RMC India 2026 heads into its sixth and final round at the 1.2-km Meco Kartopia circuit in Bengaluru on October 17 and 18.
The championship, presented by SIDVIN Energy Engineering, with MRF Tyres as partner sponsor, has attracted 64 entries across four categories: Micro (8–11 years), Mini (10–13 years), Junior (12–15 years) and Senior (above 14 years). Around 20 competitors are from Bengaluru.
The Senior category remains wide open, with 24 racers competing for the title. The Micro class is equally competitive, with different winners emerging in successive rounds.
Chennai’s Rivaan Dev Preetham of MSPORT is the frontrunner for the Junior Max title. The reigning Mini Max champion finished sixth in the Round 5 Pre-Finals before securing second place behind Pune’s Hridaan Sanadhya of Crest Motorsport in the Finals.
Nine-year-old Arshi Gupta of Faridabad, representing Leapfrog Racing, has emerged as the favourite for the Mini Max crown after winning both the Pre-Finals and Finals in the previous two rounds. Having won the Micro Max title in 2025, she is aiming for a second championship title.
Winners in the Mini, Junior and Senior categories will earn places in the World Rotax Max Grand Finals, scheduled in Portugal from November 7 to 14, featuring 432 racers from more than 60 countries.
Saturday’s schedule includes practice, qualifying and heats, while Sunday will feature the points-scoring Pre-Finals and Finals.
