Central Chennai Member of Parliament Dayanidhi Maran laid the foundation stone for a gymnasium to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 42 lakh from the MP Constituency Development Fund at 10th Street, Kalaignar Karunanidhi Nagar, Ayanavaram, in Anna Nagar Zone of the Greater Chennai Corporation on October 26.
The gymnasium, located in Ward 98, will be constructed across 812 square feet and equipped with modern fitness equipment. Chennai Mayor R. Priya, Minister and MLA P.K. Sekar Babu, Councillor A. Priyadarshini and officials participated in the event.
