Tamil Nadu has no hope under TVK rule: DMK Chief M.K. Stalin

DMK president M.K. Stalin has criticised the TVK government over the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu, stating that the State would have no hope as long as the party remained in power. His remarks followed the daylight murder of history-sheeter Maithreyan by a three-member gang in the Indira Nagar area of Adyar, Chennai, on Tuesday. A video of the incident has surfaced, and two people have reportedly surrendered at a police station in connection with the murder. According to reports, the attack took place while Maithreyan was returning in an autorickshaw after signing at a police station.
Reacting to the incident, Stalin wrote on his X account that there was no safety in prisons, schools, on roads or in courts. He alleged that the Chief Minister was unconcerned about such incidents, officials lacked proper direction, and criminals had no fear of the law.Concluding his post, Stalin said Tamil Nadu would have no hope as long as the TVK government remained in power.
