Awareness meeting on gender-based violence for garment workers

organized an awareness meeting on gender-based violence for garment and textile suppliers at Hotel Aishwarya, Erode. District Social Welfare Officer Shanmugavadivu
Labor Inspector Yuvaraj and Advocate Revathi participated as special invitees and spoke about the laws related to violence against women. Awareness training on prevention of gender-based harassment was provided by READ Training Coordinator Dr. Leena Justin. READ Director Karuppusamy Coordinators Uma Maheshwari,
Nandini, 35 Garments and Textile Management Representatives, Sociology Students and  Teachers participated. Certificates were given to those who attended the meeting.
