A strange protest in Vadodara, Gujarat disrupted traffic for hours after a woman staged a sit-in on the road demanding Pani Puri.
According to onlookers, the woman purchased a plate of Pani Puri for Rs 20, expecting six pieces. However, the vendor served her only four. Angered by this, she sat down in the middle of the road, demanding “justice” for the two missing puris.
The unusual protest caused a heavy traffic jam, leaving motorists stranded and confused. Many assumed it was a routine political rally or procession, but were surprised to learn that the issue was over Pani Puri.
Police rushed to the spot and attempted to pacify the protester. Tearfully, she appealed to officers to ensure that she received six puris for her Rs 20, which she believed was her rightful share.
Authorities, however, focused on clearing the traffic and eventually removed her from the road. It is still unclear whether her demand for the two extra puris was fulfilled, but the incident has since sparked amusement and debate across social media.
