KMCH COO Dr. Sivakumaran Wins National Inventory Excellence Award

In a proud achievement for Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH), Dr. J. Sivakumaran, Chief Operating Officer, has been honoured with the Best Inventory Controller of India Award 2025 for his exceptional leadership and contributions to healthcare inventory management.
The award was presented by renowned Marathi actor Sonalee Kulkarni at a ceremony held at Radisson Blu, Pune. Notably, Dr. Sivakumaran was the only COO from the healthcare sector to receive this prestigious recognition.
The Healthcare Excellence and Leadership Award, instituted by Insights Care, a leading healthcare media organization, recognizes professionals who have demonstrated outstanding innovation, efficiency, and dedication in advancing the healthcare industry.
With over three decades of experience, Dr. Sivakumaran has played a vital role in enhancing hospital administration and operational efficiency. He has authored several scholarly articles and received multiple honors, including the Healthcare Visionary Award from The Financial Express, the Most Iconic Healthcare Leaders (Global) Award from the World Health and Wellness Congress, and the Forttuna Global COO of the Year 2024 India Award, making him the first Indian COO to receive the title. Earlier this year, he also received the Fluxx Global Lifetime Achievement Award 2025.
